Is your idea/ proposal early stage (i.e. you do not yet have a plan of how it might progress towards a project, who you might work with or who might fund or support it)?

Is your idea/proposal for a clinical trial or clinical research?

Does your idea/proposal involve applying to a grant awarding body such as a Research Council, the Chief Scientist Office or the Wellcome Trust?

Is there an existing or potential Intellectual Property position associated with your idea/proposal

You should contact the Academic Health Science Partnership (AHSP) Office for a discussion.

One of the challenges facing anyone with an innovative idea is knowing how to progress it given the many sources of advice and support out there.  AHSP understands the landscape, collaborates locally, regionally and at a national and international level across all the relevant sectors and will provide you with guidance to take your idea forward.
