SHIL funding available to support COVID-19 efforts

A new fund is available from Scottish Health Innovations Ltd (SHIL) to help health and social care professionals across Scotland to develop innovative solutions in response to the COVID-19 crisis.  £25k initial seed funding is available along with a support package. Students, volunteers, companies and others with innovative ideas that would benefit from collaboration with the NHS can also submit their proposal.

Any ideas to help improve patient care in the fight against COVID-19 are welcome and could include a medical device, technology, software or service.

Proposals should include a description of your innovative idea, medical field (if applicable), stage of the idea and any technical information.
