Research Support Awards - 2017 call for applicants

This scheme is open to the following NHS Tayside staff including those holding honorary contracts: nurses (medical and dental), AHPs, pharmacists, biomedical/clinical scientists, and others, excluding medical doctors.  NHS Tayside staff will be the principal recipient of the research award but may collaborate with University of Dundee or Abertay as academic partners or with those working in the social care sector where appropriate.

Awards of up to £25,000 are available for protected time (sessions) to be dedicated to research.

The primary criteria for award is that proposals must have clear patient benefit, be of high quality and have an emphasis on applied health services research.
