AHSP Clinical Fellowships awards announced

The Academic Health Sciences Partnership in Tayside (AHSP) announced three new Clinical Fellowships in the latest round of funding which is aimed to promote and support translational research within NHS Tayside by enabling clinicians to develop an independent research portfolio.

2 year fellowships commencing in September 2016 were awarded to:

• Dr Michael Miller (Gastroenterology)
• Dr Esther Sammler (Neurology)
• Dr Philip Short (Respiratory)

They will spend 2 sessions per week on their respective research projects. The fellows are supported by the Tayside Medical Science Centre (TASC).
