Weekly statistics clinic and courses to support new and experienced AHSP researchers |
16th March, 2015 |
Division of Population Health Sciences at the Medical Research Institute launched a weekly statistics clinic and a series of courses in statistics and research methods to support new and experienced researchers across the Academic Health Science Partnership in Tayside. To gain first-hand experience in statistics and research methods researchers can elect to join one or more of our stand alone postgraduate modules. Or, they can come along to a weekly Monday afternoon statistics clinic which is supported by one or more experienced medical statisticians. The Statistics clinic in the Mackenzie Building is open 2-5pm every Monday and required advanced booking. For more details see the flyer and a brochure for this initiative. Division of Population Health Sciences also provides stand-alone modules that together cover the design, conduct and interpretation of research studies. These form part of the division’s postgraduate teaching in public health. The teaching involves lectures, tutorials and private study; there is also a substantial practical component. Further details are available in the flyer and a brochure for this initiative. Statistics Clinic stand alone modules - flyer Statistics Clinic stand alone modules brochure March 2015
