May Seminar - Public Benefit and Privacy Panel for Health & Social Care

A seminar on the Public Benefit and Privacy Panel (PBPP) for Health & Social Care will be held on Monday 15th May 2017 from 1 - 2pm in the Gannochy Lecture Theatre, Ninewells Hospital & Medical School.

This seminar will be delivered by Ashley Gray, Panel Manager, Public Benefit & Private Panel and Carole Morris, Information Consultant, eDRIS Team.  

The presentation will cover aspects such as the National Datasets, data linkage, National Safe Haven as well as the PBPP permissions process. The PBPP and the eDRIS service work closely together so the talk will cover the work of both of these services.

Who should attend this talk?

All those planning or requiring access to NHS Scotland originated data for a variety of purposes other than direct care – for example for research, audit or healthcare planning.

Open to ALL staff and students with an interest in healthcare data.
