The Tayside Palliative and End of Life Care Managed Care Network (TayPEOLC MCN) is working in partnership with the Health and Social Care Partnership, independent and voluntary sector groups in Perth & Kinross as part of the Traucanta Project. This is a new initiative being run by the Scottish Partnership for Palliative Care, and funded by Macmillan Cancer Support. The project will support local communities across Scotland who are interested in taking community action to improve people’s experiences of death, dying, loss and care. As part of this we would like to invite you to a special event

 'To Absent Friends' Perthshire on 15th November, 2019, from 4-6pm in Perth Civic Hall, Council Building, 2 High Street, PERTH, PH1 5PH.

 This is a community event, connecting people in Perthshire through shared experiences and stories. There will also be an exhibition celebrating traditions, photographs, music and poetry of remembrance.

 ‘To Absent Friends’ will take place across Scotland in November, in public spaces, over social media, among friends, families and communities, and in people's minds and hearts. Further information can be found by following this link: https://www.toabsentfriends.org.uk/content/festival/

 Please come along to share some tea, cake and post your own memory of someone who is no longer with us whose life you would like to celebrate.
